To enrol in the Master’s Degree Programme in International Relations and Organisations (IRO), candidates are expected to meet specific academic requirements and undergo an assessment of their personal preparation. As the Master’s Degree Programme is taught entirely in English, adequate language skills and a multidisciplinary background are fundamental for a successful academic journey.

2. English Language Proficiency: Since the Master’s Degree Programme is taught entirely in English, proficiency at a level no lower than B2 (CEFR) is required. This may be demonstrated through:
- an international language certificate (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge);
- a university-level exam passed at the B2 level;
- a previous degree obtained from a programme taught entirely in English;
- native speaker status.
3. Enrollment Procedures by Student Category
A) Italian Citizens, EU Citizens, and Non-EU Citizens residing in Italy: Candidates in this category follow the standard University enrolment procedure. Once curricular requirements are verified, applicants are invited to take a Preliminary Assessment Test to confirm their personal preparation.
B) Non-EU Citizens residing abroad (International Students): International students requiring a Study Visa are guided through the following process:
- Pre-enrolment: Applications must be submitted through the Universitaly Portal.
- Admission Interview: Candidates participate in an oral interview (via teleconference) with the Chair of the Master’s Programme to discuss their academic background, language skills, and rationale for choosing the IRO Master’s Degree Program.
- Visa Application: Following a successful interview, the University validates the pre-enrolment to support the visa application process.
